| Welcome to RussellAsh.com It took me longer than some authors to decide to launch a website. This is partly because, like many writers, I already have a public presence of sorts: my books are in shops and reviewed in the press, I give the occasional talk, am interviewed on the radio and appear on TV from time to time (I have just been on University Challenge: The Professionals as a member of the Society of Authors team – see the News section). I am featured, sometimes accurately, on various websites, such as Wikipedia. However, like most people (other than the most extrovert celebrities), I value my privacy and that of my family, so RussellAsh.com is not going to be a sort of glorified Facebook: it will simply present the basic facts about me and my work in an accessible form. RussellAsh.com is a one-stop catalogue of all my previous books and a source of information about my latest titles. It provides answers to the questions writers are often asked, basic biographical details, some Ash family history stuff, links to the websites of other writers I know and people and organizations that I hope will be of interest. It also provides a means of contacting me – I always try to reply, but how quickly depends on my workload. Over the next few months, I will be developing existing areas of the site and introducing some new ones, so please bookmark me and come back soon.
