Ash & Grant

Ash & Grant was the illustrated book publishing company I founded in 1973 in partnership with Ian Grant. We operated until 1979 as an independent company, producing a range of titles in the fields of science, humour, photography, children’s and art. Most of our books were also published in the USA and in a number of foreign editions. In 1979–83 the company operated as a publishing imprint of Dorling Kindersley. This is a summary catalogue of the principal works from the first phase of Ash & Grant’s existence – full bibliographical details, overseas editions and titles from the DK era will be added in due course.
